Veteran journalist Jimi Matthews is currently the acting Group Executive for News at the SABC. He was the founding Head-of-News at eTV and was also a senior producer for Reuters. As a documentary stills photographer he has had a number of one man shows internationally. His documentary films have been shown on a number of foreign television channels and at film festivals. Widely published as a writer, mainly on cultural issues, Matthews continues to follow his passion for black and white stills Photography.
